Irina Shayk Is The 2011 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue Cover Girl

Irina Shayk landed the coveted Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue cover this year. The model is soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo's Russian girlfriend.

The cover was supposed to be unveiled at midnight New York time on "The Late Show with David Letterman," but in a test run for the show a massive billboard of the iconic cover was briefly unveiled on Monday afternoon.

Shayk, 25, has been featured in the past five Sports Illustrated swimsuit issues, but she has never appeared on the cover.
