When the first connections between the Playboy photos and a State cheerleader were made three weeks ago, the school said that Corley had done nothing to merit dismissal from the MSU cheering squad. Her Playboy days had come post-high school, pre-MSU.
The website SportsByBrooks.com — which takes credit for breaking the Corley story even though several other sites (including this one) had already reported it — caught up with the former cheerleader and learned that she’s now involved in a new reality TV show.
“I’ve been in contact with Playboy,” Corley said. “I’m also in the running for Model of the Year 2011! … I am about to start a new reality TV series called ‘Girl Swagg,’ it’s a pilot for MTV/VH1 and I’m very excited to move forward with that. This has been planned for a few months now, though. I do not have any representation yet, as of right now my mom is just helping me with everything.”
When the story of the Playboy shoot broke in January, Corley — who posed under the name Taylor Stone — said that she didn’t believe she would be at State for long. That’s Starkville’s loss.
